Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

A very comfortable environment for young children from the fun design when you walk in to the stuffed animals on the ceilings and so on. They do a great job with talking to young children so they understand what is going to happen and put them at ease for the appointment. My son looks forward to picking out a prize from the treasure box at the end of every visit!

Amazing office! My four year old had been going to our dentist since he was 1. But they moved and were no longer kid friendly and he had a really hard time at his last appt with them. They referred us to Grandville Pediatric Dentistry and it changed everything! The office staff was so kind, patient, and focused on my son. Everyone was approachable and encouraging! I canβt say enough good things. He sat for the whole appointment, got X-rays, and a full cleaning. No tears, fears, or fits. I recommend this office to anyone with kids that is looking for dental care. 100/10!

6/5 Stars! Our almost 2 year old daughter shattered her tooth late Thursday. We called first thing Friday morning and were able to be seen same day even though we were not established patients. Dr. Agata saw our daughter, answered all of our questions, told us our options, and made us feel comfortable with our choice to extract the tooth. 10 minutes later the tooth was removed and our daughter was back to normal! First class experience! 5+++ Stars!

I brought my kids to this office after a pretty traumatic experience at another office. Now I am grateful for that experience for bringing me here. The moment we walked in, the office looked and smelled like calm. Everyone is so welcoming and every staff member helped us navigate the transition. Getting insurance put in was a little hassle, but they were patient through every step. Despite being a premier dentist in my insurance network, their fees are more than reasonable. I don't feel anxious that there are going to be surprises every time I go in. I've never seen my kids so chill about dentist appointments. We are absolutely dog people, so their therapy dog(s) that often greet us in the waiting room for pets is a wonderful addition. My 11-year-old had such anxiety about dental visits that I couldn't tell him until the day of or he would dwell to the point of getting nothing else done leading up to it - but last visit he came out telling me it "wasn't so bad." That's quite the compliment coming from him. My 10 year old daughter saw the same hygienist/tech two times in a row. It made her feel really valued to see her wearing the pin she "gifted" her the appointment before on her

I took my almost 4 year old here and this was the best experience weβve ever had in healthcare in general! From the moment we walked in the staff was so welcoming and friendly! The assistant and doctor were so patient, kind and caring toward my daughter. They took time to explain every detail to my daughter ensuring she was comfortable and she even left saying how fun it was! They went above and beyond by privately discussing a procedure with me to ensure I was well informed, without my daughter hearing the details. I was so so so impressed by their care and kindness, 10000% recommend!!
